Reference images are images of tissue typical of a particular score. They help pathologists score more consistently. For example, you might want to show reference images with low vs high tumor grade.

Reference study contains some slides from which you can select regions that raters can use as reference/guide when scoring.
It should have a scoring sheet with a annotation shapes-type question for possible answers (or their sets e.g. "10-30%"). When you draw rectangles as answers for these questions the outlined regions will be shown as reference images.
Example: A question with answers "High grade" and "Low grade". Reference study has two annotation shape-type questions: "High grade" and "Low grade". The reference study contains 2 slides, first one has some areas annotated as "High grade" and some as "Low grade". Second has one "Low grade" area. When raters of the current study open a slide they will see multiple reference images for "High grade" (one for each annotation) and one "Low grade" in the question in the reference study.
Additionally, the reference study can contain an image with the name "ReferenceCard". This can be an image or a document screenshot that provides an overview of all possible answers.
You need to give all users of this study access to the reference study. We recommend to keep the reference studies unpublished so that it doesn't show up in pathologists' list of studies but they can still see the images.
Note: don't set correct answers for tests, tech-savvy students can find them.
